Sorry, but I'm failing to see the sad part in this. He isn't dead, sometimes it takes a (painful) mistake to teach someone a lesson.
Dude takes his brand new Harley, gets liquored up, and wrecks it, almost killing himself. He's 30 years old, he knew alcohol and motorcycles don't mix, there has never been a person with a sober thought that truly believed a few beers made them a better rider. I feel more sympathy for the bike than I do the rider...
I'm with you on this one. The only sad part is that he even had a Harley to begin with and he was stupid enough to drink and get on a bike. I figure it's better he wrapped himself up rather than him being in a car and taking out some innocent victim.
