Used to play & hang out in a lot of clubs in the area-Rumbottoms,Speaks,Community Gardens,Timepiece Cafe, Matty T's,Hammerheads, etc. How about the Hamptons? There were some wild summers at Hot Dog Beach & the Boardy Barn & the Mad hatter.
You are bringing back lots of fond memories. The Good Rats, Twisted Sister, My Fathers Place, WLIR. Hammerheads was awesome.

Ain't that the truth, feeling old
Saw jackson Browne at My fathers Place before it and he were discovered. He did cuts from his first album "soak before using".
One could walk in hear good music and have a cold one with no crowds. Then the demise came when you could only get tickets at ticketmasters to get in

Yep, still together. Playing in NJ next weekend. I remember seeing The Ramones at Pastimes in Amityville.

I used to work at Honda of Mineola--remember Phil,Adam,& Nick? Also used to buy alot of stuff from Rolling Thunder & American Motorcyclist in mineola.
Phil is still there but it is now a Yamaha/Suzuki/Victor dealership. I go to Rolling Thunder when I need something rather than a dealership.
