Default Left grip removal?

Guys- I want to change handle bars....but would like not to distroy the glued on Kuryakyn grip. (Left)

Any way to do this?

I will be putting some taller pull-back bars on my roadglide.

Thanks.

I just squeezed the crap out of the grip and twisted it back and forth.
You could also try slipping a straightened paperclip under and spraying a light weight oil under to help break it free.

Try putting some heat to it and twist it off slowly.

WD-40 with a spray tube; slide it under the edge and give it a light spray, then just rinse it out with soap and water.

When you find out that nothing works,,you can buy just one grip with glue from Kuryakyn,,thats what I had to do with my ISO grips,,,

I had to cut the ISO cage off with a wire cutter to get it off. Anyone need a single right ISO? LOL

I have ISO Grips, and I installed the left one with the glue that they provide. I was riding on a trip last summer, and the left grip just came right off while I was riding. I didn't have any glue with me, so I just wrapped the bar end with some electrical tape and shoved the grip back on.
It held so good, that now I don't even use glue, when I changed my bars, I just used electrial tape on the bar and jam the grip on. It doesn't come off by itself, but I can remove it easily if want to by pulling and twisting the grip.

don't know about the kury iso grips, but whenever i've had to remove the left grip from my bars, i put a pot of water on the stove, heat it up, and dip the left grip in it. softens the glue up and comes right off.
