JMO, but grips are cheap so I'd take the opportunity to get new ones & cut it off.

A good strong grip, twist and turn while pulling. If all else fails buy a new bike!

I have had luck getting them off by heating them with a hair type blow dryer and some twisting, heating them softens the glue.

Thanks for all the response. I now have several methods to try. I will post after I get my new bars to let you know what worked.
