I normally keep both the 'toys' available until mid-November, but this weather cycle is bust'n my ba!!$ right now. I've got a feeling that the first snow that accumulates on the ground will be the last snow that melts in Mar/Apr. I really hate SE Michigan winters. Gonna test fire the snowblower tomorrow....

Hopefully another month and half of some riding here, then it goes in the spare bedroom. But we get breaks in Jan and Feb where you can ride a day or two.

Aw man, now I'll have to hobble out to the garage this weekend and get my snow blower out to make sure it runs ok for the wife to use.

eah, I used to live in Michigan and do the same thing. Left Michigan in 96. We now life in Tucson and I don't winterize anything anymore. Ride year round. In fact, now is coming up on our good riding season.

I'm in S IL so I don't have to store it. This year Oct. has been bad though , a LOT more chilly than normal. Usually can get some days in every month of winter so I guess I am at least a little lucky

I try and ride through the Thanksgiving weekend unless it has already snowed and there is crap on the roads. Last year I put the bike away in early December. Once they treat the roads, there is gravel on all the roads which make riding a bit scary in northwest N.J.
