I try to avoid night riding (deer country), and I don't drink and ride. So I am always amazed when I see guys who have been drinking all night, get on their bike, usually with an OL, and cruise off into the dark. I'm surprised that more people aren't killed. I had 1 or 2 beers and rode when I started riding, but I have had enough close calls, stone cold sober, I'm not giving the Grim Reaper a headstart.

 

I'd bet a healthy sum that she knew damn good and well that he'd been drinking when she CHOSE to get on the bike. Does that make him any less at fault? Not in the least. He should serve his time. But don't act like there was no fault on her side of it.
