Does your old lady freak out when you tour solo?

I think its about $150.00 for one year, but its worth it.
IronAss, you need one for the next Hoka Hey. Last year I was tracking several guys, and you could tell by their waypoints on the map that they were really hauling ***.
I remember something about the guy that crashed into a ravine outside of Casper, Wyoming last year. I'm not sure, but I understand that his friends that were tracking him called the Casper police when his tracker hadn't moved for a few hours and they found him. He was killed, but his tracker kept sending the GPS co-ordinates.
I was thinking that if he didn't have the tracker, they wouldn't even know that he was missing until he didn't show up at Homer, and then where do you start to look? You probably know more about that incident than I do, but I thought the tracker was pretty useful.
Anyway, if you get one, you better post the link to your Spot tracker map on the forum, so we can all follow you on the Hoka Hey and be cheering you on, and wishing we were riding with you.

My android phone will do tracking and I just give my family the website/password to view it. (Instamapper is the name of the application that runs the tracking and is currently free)

At the end of the day you are a grown man and can make your own decisions. But for her make sure you call regularly just to let her know you're alright, and during the trip this will help calm her down.

When a woman starts the freaking out game about something you want to do without her she's playing a power game with you using tools god gave her the guilt monster . Make you feel guilty and she gets her way , age old problem bud and insecurity issues on her part don't help your case either . Good luck .
PS 3 days into a 3 week road I dumped my ex at the Dallas airport for being a royal bitch about everything for the week prior and had a great time for the next 2 1/2 weeks solo . Cold at home for a while but we never had that power struggle again .

Aside from riding to work my best riding partner is my wife and she's usually right beside me on her own bike if I'm just going for a cruise. I do go for a cruise sometimes by myself or with a friend but she has no prob with it. For years she rode with me and knows how cautious I am she even use to complain about me being too cautious until she started riding herself. A few months after this she told me I was right, believe it or not.
