Anyone ride without a motorcycle license?
I was wondering if you or anyone you know of ride without a motorcycle license or endorsement?
I should admit I rode a "Few" years without it and never had an unfortunate situation where it was necessary to show one.
The truth shall set you free.

Yes; I started riding back in 1951, and there was no motorcycle endorsement back then. That was just before we started loosing our freedom. I even rode with out a tag back then with no problems. I don't remember for sure, but I think the endorsement thing came along in the 60's sometime. Could have been the 70's, and they grandfathered in people that had a license at that time without taking a test.

Yes, I rode without a motorcycle endorsement on my license for many years. I have had one off and on since I was 14 years old. Remember something about cc restrictions but that was a long time ago. I have one now because I could see the changes coming by the nanny state. The whiners who think that a license makes the rider are stupid. I see lots of stupid people riding all types of motorcycles with the skill sets of a dope smoking, head injury study lab monkeys that most likely have a license. A license is nothing but a tax and tracking device. I could understand using it to meet minimal standards to ride but once that is passed then it just becomes revenue.

Why Would Ya?
Here in NJ it costs an extra $5.00 for the endorsement. An idiot could pass the written & riding test. What could the possible reason be, besides laziness, for not getting it? If you don't know how or have never ridden before you can take a MSF course which all but guarantees EVERYONE a license without the riding exam.

Yes, I rode without a motorcycle license for about 6 months. That was 1979 and I was still young and stupid. Lucky I never got pulled over.
Today I have my endorsement but I'm old and stupid now.
