HD Vrod or Buell?
The next bike I get, (I am still keeping the WG) I want something with more HP. I have been thinking about getting a Vrod. However, today I sat on a Buell and it didn't feel that bad! Anyone out there own a Buell and or a Vrod? What is your opinion of the two?

Very different types of riding styles there! If you want to experience the sportbike sensation, than a Buell is for you. A V-Rod gets you a ton of power in a cruise style! I've ridden a lightning (900cc version), and it's alot of fun, but I started off on sportbikes, so it wasn't unfamilar to me.
The second bike I want to add to my stable is a Ducati (916, 996, 998), an Aprilia RSV Mille, or a Buell Firebolt 12R. (in that order)

Considering you already have a cruiser I would look at a Buell. It may not be as fast in a straight line, but it will probably be much more fun in the twisties.
If you want both the V-Rods power and the Buells handling, look at the Triumph Speed Triple. Now that's a capable bike. Handles like a true sportbike and even quicker than the V-Rod (130hp and weighs less).
Here's a clip of the Speed Triple:

Hm, according to the numbers above the Buell and the Harley are exactly as quick up to 140km/h (88mph), and the Buell is not much slower to 125mph.

RE: HD Vrod or Buell?
I, personally like the look of the Vrod.
I bought an 06 street bob. The dealer had built it for himself and did the screamin eagle big bore , bigger cams with pressure release buttons, vance and hines etc. We got into a horsepower discussion at that time and he said he had the bob on the dyno at 105hp. It is a rocket. I asked him what Harley on the floor can match that horsepower and he said none. But, he said, the Vrod-reworked-can get to 113 horsepower. That would put it past the buell.
Regardless though, I just love Harleys.

If you want to get real agressive in the corners, get a Buell. Best handling bike out there.

I had both. Two different bikes. The Buell rides more like a Sportbike but the power curve is similar to a traditional Harley...if you are looking for a bike specifically for the twisties, riding aggressive, or just to be a Hooligan buy this bike. The V-rod rides more like a traditional cruiser but, the powerband is similar to an I4 sportbike...all the power is up top. Fun bike stoplight to stop light & on the open road...cruises at 90mph+.

RE: HD Vrod or Buell?
Ok, while I am at it, I have a couple more questions about the Buell. What is a Buell? I mean, is it a Harley Sportbike? Does Harley own Buell? I guess what I am asking is what is the relationship between Harley and Buell or are they one in the same? Also, how does the Buell compare to other sportbikes out there?
By the way, thanks for all your help with this. I am VERY new to all this. Not even sure why I am wanting more HP all of a sudden. Can one go through a mid-life crisis at 34?
