2012 bikes not to far away, if Harleys gave you your choice of bike with either a 96 twin cam or a 96 evo engine which would you pick?

Depends. The TC makes descent power and the Evo didn't, but the Evo is a smoother, higher mileage engine. The Evo used a squish band head assembly that limited power but increased efficiency. I love the Evo, but I would choose the TC88 with the 05 and earlier primary ratio.

EVO, on the twinky's the chain driven cams with tensioner are crap.
