Default Question on 06 vs. 07 transmission

We all know about the reported transmission problems on some of the HD's 2007 bikes. I thought they had the same transmission in 2006. My 06 bob shifts like butter and there is absolutely no lugging through all 6 gears. What changed between 06 an 07?

hd2007: How can it be the very same transmission? I've never heard one complaint about the 06 transmission. I heard HD is working on a solution to the 07 problem, so there must be some difference between 06 and 07.

Can anyone shed any light on this?
