For a tourer these bike have the best gear ratio HD ever made.

Buddy has a 06 Heritage with carb. My bike flat out kicks his. We even switched bikes and he could not believe the difference!

Can't say much for the 96" but my 110" kicks ***. 115ft/lbs of torque out of the box - What's not to like.
Can't say the same for my 06 SG.

Definate difference. More cubic inch = More power in any motor.

The motor is great, really great. But the sorry *** transmission or what ever is causing the problem ruins how great this bike is. If they get the transmission problem fixed this bike will be the one to have.

I smile every time on it , I actually broke the rear wheel loose going for 2nd to 3rd today !! Fast and smooth , great bike.

Had an '04 Heritage with carb. My new '07 Road King is a lot stronger motor especially for highway use. We'll have to wait and see about durability.
