turn signals not required in PA?

I don't believe they're required in Missouri either (recently moved here from Illinois.) It's weird, because Missouri requires vehicle inspections, helmets, and all kinds of crap, yet they don't require turn signals or even GOGGLES? That's crazy stuff.

In Pa if they are there they must work. If the bike does not have turn signals it will pass state inspection and will not be required to be installed. However do not get caught not useing hand signals fines are steep and with the f'n q-tips in their cages the a holes will run you over or broadside you.

I'm in PA and would always throw out the turn signals, but this was in the '70's. Now, I was at my indie's and he was customizing a customer's bike. He told me the guy didn't want any turn sigs at all, but the indie wouldn't inspect it unless he put them on. So maybe now we need them.
And I'm with ed about hand signals- who knows what they are anymore?

Well, this hear says no eye protection in Missouri. Not sure if it's right.

The indy I use is very sensitive about that. I have seen him turn away people that ask for things that he doesn't feel they can handle. I like that about him.
