If you travel into a state that requires them do you need to have them regardless of where your bike is registered?

I see a lot of bikes that don't have turn signals.

I live in Pennsylvania.

Deleted, by popular demand.

Mine has them but I don't use them unless conditions are so bad I can't be seen from behind in which case I use them as 4 way flashers. Had to do that a couple times and was glad to have them.

If you're trying to be cute, I fail to see the humor there.

No humor at all.

Just sound dangerous as hell these days to not have or use turn signals. I guess we never hear of anyone getting rear ended on a motorcycle, do we?

Bro you live in a very white bread part of the country , you could have halogen spots for turn signals out here and all foreign national drivers we have still wouldn't see them . That was a post in very bad taste man .

Nope; as long as you meet the requirements of your state your OK. How much money that might take to win the court case is another story.

I take the front sigs off the Nightster until it's inspection time. I have small itty-bitty-titty bullets on the front of my Sloptail, and LED bullets on the rear. The rears are run/brake/turn controlled by a module. I seldom use the turns 'cause the switch isn't readily handy - internal throttle, no wires on the bars.
