rode my EG home from the dealer in the rain 45 minutes. Thats how excited i was to get it. I wasnt going to wait anotehr day for the weather to co operate

About 18 of us wenton a group rideout last sunday into the Dales in Derbyshire. It started out fine, by the time we got into the hills it was honking it down and the wind was blowing that hard it looked like I was trying to get my knee down in a straight line. Helmet to helmet bluetooth is great, but when you have the wife squealing into your earsin stereo you thank the lord for the off switch.
End of the day though we both got off the bike with smiles on our faces

All the way from Cape Hatteras to Morristown NJ in '74.......a hurricane followed us ALL the way......when we stopped for gas we didnt know what we got more of.....water or fuel

have ridden in the rain for days on end. I do not like it. However a bad day of riding in the rain beats the heck out of any day working including payday.

Let's see what the ratio is. I have many times. That's what happens to bikers. We still ahveto get around. I'll never forget the first time it rained when all I had was a bike. I called work and said I might be a bit late as it was raining. I thought about the bus, laughed and jumped on my bike. I didn't have a rain suit, got soaked, but I got there in one piece.
