To me, they're just art and I think some are effin beautiful, but I'd never buy one.

To each his own...

They are fun to look at and admire, but I do not want one. Riding dead axle is not my cup of tea. To each his own.

Now Grace, in Pulp Fiction, that was a cool bike. Way cool. But that's different from the modern custom west coast chopper movement.

Choppers are a lot of fun,I've built two and currently ride the one pictured in my avatar.Built with the correct rake and trail they can handle as well as the moco;s. Granted I need a bigger turning radius since my chopper is stretched 10".I've done several 500 mile rides on it.It's all about making the bike your own,not having the same bike as everyone else, all the Harley owners that I know and ride with do some sort of mods to make the ride theirs, chopper are just a different way of doing that..If you are a rider who likes to do a lot of long distance touring a chopper isn't the best choice.Fortunately for me I'm able to afford a bagger for touring and the pro street for playing around.

Totally agree. I think most custom choppers look like crap. I'd take an exile any day though. They are bad ***.

I think it would be great to have one if........
I built AND I had several other types in the garage.

I like the "Billy Bike" in Easy Rider. LOVE that one. The "Wyatt" bike is too stretched for my tastes.
