Yes I knew and so was I. The best part of this site is reading the smart *** coments even if they are directed at me, yes brain fart!

Thanks for the suggestions, still looking but I settle on one soon.

Actually go try on helmets until you find exactly what you want, then go find that helmet online and buy it and you'll $ave lot$ of $$$$$$$$$.

That's what I did when I needed a full-face for rain. Turns out the different brands differed by 2 or 3 sizes in what fit me and the $120 helmet I tried in the store cost me $60, shipped, from a dealer on Ebay.

Head Trip, Scull Crush Gear & Composite Craft I believe are all the old ACC helmets under new names without being DOT helmets. Not saying they are bad, just saying who I think the are.

Size & is the interior black or white. A inside pic would help.

If it's an ACC with black interior in large I will take it. I'm on the way out so I'll respond later. It's in good shape?

Try this helmet. Its what I have. Its perfect. Light, non-mushroom head and DOT. It looks and feels like the novelty helmets, but its DOT certified.

I love it.

I love my HD one. Its one of the ultra light hybrid half helmets. Pricy at $199 but I like it way better than the ACC carbon fiber DOT helmet I had to send back because they're not really DOT. They are a novelty helmet. The HD ultra lights weigh under 2 LBS. If you cant find another brand thats lighter you might try one.

anything is possible. i would like some of what you were having to not realize i had forgotten to put my helmet on. leave it on the seat...that way you cannot get on the bike without touching the helmet--wait it was on the passenger seat? my bad...guess i value me head more than that.
