Another biker and Patriot R.I.P
On sunday in Rochester,NY a 25 year old Marine sargent 25 years old was riding his bike when a 65 year old woman turned left in front of the Marine and he has past away from his injuries. I didn't know him but he has served two tours of Iraq. The news report didn't say if he was married or had kids. But the 65 year old lady only recieved a ticket for failure to yield of the right of way. I don't know about you but I will be sending an email to the Rochester,NY district attorny and telling him he needs to file charges against the lady that hit and killed this American Hero. Maybe everyone else can also send an email to the DA.

Any needless loss of life is bad but law enforcement does not issue citation for vehicular manslaughter on the scene of an accident. That's done through court system and usually take a long time. http://www.whec.com/news/stories/s2059225.shtml

Thoughts and prayers to his family. The sad reality is that the Marine Corps will try to use this incident and loss of life to deter the love of motorcycling. Why doesn't the military sue the driver that just cost the USMC their investment. That's the main beef about the military and riders in the military, I heard it in 1971 till 1994. Didn't want to editorialize the grief but his happens to too many riders with minimal penalty.

Same happened Sunday morning in Houston. National officer of a Big 4 club was killed when a man turned left infront of him. He fled the scene but was caught. He will be ticketed for failure to yield but will be arraigned for fleeing the scene and failure to stop and render aid. Odd how killing a man will be less punishment than running from the police.
