That really sucks!!!
I did not like the bikes at all!!! But I hate to see people losing their jobs!
Sure, Coleman will be alright... It's the regular people I feel most for... I hope the remaining few are able to pull thru...

Sorry to hear people are losing jobs. The demise of the chopper craze has taken down a number of companies.

they needed to adapt and didn't , the bobber craze was obvious and they didn't cash in on it

Hate it for those that lost their jobs.

As for fads: Choppers came in big, went out bust. Same with all fads. If in the business of riding the crest of a fad, guess one had better be watching the waves and pick the right ones to ride. Like zukeeper said: Bobbers are hot right now. Big Dog didn't cash in.

Default Resale Value

I feel sorry for those who own one. Obviously the value of the bike will go down drastically when they go to trade it in on a new bike. My buddy who moved to Reno, Nevada had one, and loved his.

I guess current owners who can afford to do so, should put it into storage for 30 years, and then bring it out, and might be worth some money. Just thinking out loud.
