I get my ***** broken all the time about my black leather chaps, but F**k'em all cause they do a fine job of keeping me warm in these 40 to 50 degree temps, and provide far more protection from road rash than even the heavy Carhartt jeans I wear....

I don't judge any man his chosen style of riding gear, whatever works for you. If it gives you comfort, protection, or makes a statement, wear whatever the hell makes you happy, and to hell with what others think.....

If you want to wear the equivalent of knickers on yer bike....enjoy...and to hell with everyone else laughing their asses off about it. It's a free country. Maybe you could try '***-less knickers', though if you walk into a real biker bar wearing knickers (let alone the ***-less ones) or 'riding breeches' you'd better be an '***-kicker' or at least sport an authentic british accent.
