Frogg Togz

We had a set, and used them several times. If you are in a steady all day rain then NO you will get wet. A passing shower, there ok, quick to put on and don't take up much room . We have the Hi-Viz H-D now and they are much better at keeping you dry! but they take up more room and are a bit more challenging to put on. Personally I wish I would have bought the H-D first, this is just one opinion, you will get many.

I had a set (Road Toad - I believe). Will never get another set. They kept me nice and dry...except the hole on the let at exhaust level. I'm still getting melted rain suit off my exhaust. I'll stick with my H-D rain gear. It is heavy, takes up a lot of space in the saddle bag, keeps me dry except for the sweat from the inside.

I have never had the Frogg Togz. I have read many comments talking about how they melt. I bought a set from Tourmaster. They have a very durable heat sheild on both legs and I am super impressed by them. I have spent hours and hours riding in the rain in these thing sand never had the slightest leak.

I have a set and like them pretty well for the price. They are lightweight and take up little room in saddlebags. Have always stayed dry in them and sweat FAR LESS than in any other raingear I have tried including HD. Did burn the leg on the exhaust and now have a patch. Debating on buying a better set (Road Toads) or jumping to a new set from HD. I think the HD sets are much more durable but they are heavier and you sweat like a pig in them.

I have used one pair of Frogg Toggs for five years now. I ride a bagger and I have long legs so perhaps it is easier for me to keep them away from hot exhausts. I hear they do melt, but mine have held up for 5 seasons.
I have ridden through monsoons and stayed perfectly dry. A trick is to put the hood up inside your helmet. When I have gotten wet, it is because I didn't put the hood up and took rain down the neck.
My only criticism of the product is that I find the legs too short for someone my height. I have to wear gaitors to keep the bottom of my jeans dry.
I disagree about getting hot and sweaty in them. Frogg Toggs breathe as well as anything, IMHO.

Great idea. I've had mine for about 5 years with no problems.
