Dropped My Bike Last Night

I feel your pain....
when I first started riding, all my friends told me I was most likely to go down while riding low speed in a paking lot or the like, and that the front brake would likely contribute to that.....

Under NO circumstances are you to do that. Just stop the bike first, or ask her to wait until you have finished turning around.

Glad you are ok....but when wheeling around in the garage or on the driveway I pay no attention to anyone until the jiffy is down. I had the exact same thing happen about 4 years ago and almost herniated myself when my bike fell 1/2 way over. If it would have been a bagger no way could I have stopped it.

That sucks Hips. I was backin down a steep driveway 2 years ago, 4 o'clock in the
morning, & when I hit the gutter the bike went over & I went rolling . lol! I was like WTF
was that!? No one saw it. I picked up the bike & took off. I haven't tried turning around in
the driveway in a long time. Just back out slow w/ front brake.
That turntable thing Oct put up is cool.

Glad you're ok, and welcome to the club! You can buff out some of the scratches, and some will just add character. Soon you won't notice. Might want to try wrapping your guards with leather, looks good and protects. check out Capt. Itch for these.

The thing is that I have done it thousand of times. I buffed most of it out and special ordered the black ice paint that costs about a thousand dollars a gallon if it came in gallon size, but what are you going to do. The rest of the scratches will add character as someone said earlier. I did take it for a ride today and it still rides just fine, scratches and all.

Glad to hear you and your bike are OK. It happens!
February I was riding with a new buddy when we passed some Bicyclist and one of them is a woman I know, well we entered a set of twisties and I wasn't thinking about the curve coming up but what I just saw and I realized to late I had to much speed. To make a long story shorter I high sided breaking my collar bone and a big bruise on my hip and thigh. The Windshield took the brunt of the crash and a ding on the left running light rim other wise the bike is fine.
As they say "It's not if you are going down but just a matter of when." But I can't complain, I've been riding since I was 15 and I've ridden in different parts of the world and this is my first major injury caused by a MC.
