BIG Thanks to Arlen Ness for their Service...
Credit where credit is due:
I had shifting problems on my new Fat Boy and some of it was traced back to the Arlen Ness clutch tower and lever. I contacted them in Dublin California and even though I was not the original purchaser and the warranty no doubt had expired, they accepted the tower back and returned a new, modified one. Upshot is that there was a conflict between the clutch throw and the Barnett HD clutch in the bike. The AN product was not defective, just not quite right for the setup I had unless it was slightly modified to work. Sac Harley was just as gracious, installing a Screaming Eagle HD clutch and all is now good.
I want to that the folks at Arlen Ness Enterprises for their help, unfailing politeness and extremely quick turnaround on their products. Arlen Ness is a sponsor here and I'm glad that they are. Sacramento Harley is the best I've been to and their service department cannot be beat.
Sincerely,
