yeah, but then maybe the guy died and the wife sold the bike cause she doesn't ride. She ends up cryin on the phone at ya and ya have to listen to it instead of being a jerk and hangin up on her, etc. etc.
Probably would be the last time ya tried that.

I'd go ahead and call them if it was me. You might find out some good info on the Bike. It wouldn't bother me if if some guy call me up about some bike I use to own. In fact I wish he would, I'd like to know how it's doing.

I'd call for sure. You could get some good info and maybe some stock stuff he took off and is just laying around.

take a chance. we never forget our rides and the times/memories they provided no matter what it was. they'd do well to know their old baby is in good new hands.

I talked to him and he still e-mails asking about her two years later. He actually wants to be called first if I ever sell.
We haven't gone riding together yet but probably will in the future.
He supplied me with more info than I could imagine. It turned out he teaches a riding course as well.
It can't hurt to call them

You could write him a letter and inquire as to the possibility for a phone conversation regarding the motorcycle.
