Friend wrecked bike
#61
My GF is a claims adjuster, and she says that an insurance company,by law, MUST cover any driver, licensed or not, drunk or not, whatever. It's called "good faith coverage" or something like that. THEN, after paying for the damage, your insurance company will go after HIS company & try to get payment.
Why would you let ANYONE ride your bike, let alone an unlicensed rider?

"It was your decision to let your friend ride it, its your bike its up to you to get it fixed...it wouldn't be wrecked if you didn't let him ride it."

You think this is about grammar? It's about your concept that his friend is absolved from all responsibility.

That's how it goes around here as well -
most say "Ahhh - never mind !"
Bikes are not like cages - easy to fall over coming up to a stop sign stop line with too much front brake / easy to crash just letting the clutch out for the 1st time

First of all I would never ask my friend if I could ride his bike. He wrecked it, he should pay for it any way he can without your insurance spending a dime.

Yes, if I let someone ride my bike I accept full responsibility, that being said I wouldn't let anybody ride my bike if they didn't know what they were doing mostly because I would feel bad if they got hurt.

Ok now we are getting somewhere, never loan money you cant afford to lose, never loan a bike you cant afford to fix.
