Dealer that backed into th eguy's bike
OK so i know Terry will probably close this thread but here goes...I Personally spoke to Shelton today. Yes he did hit the bike...It was parked behind his trailer with 2 bikes in it and didn't see the bike, he had to leave to his other dealer in Durham and got out of the truck, looked at the bike and was minor damages and got in the truck and called the Store manager and told him to go out to the Parking lot and look at the bike and to tell the guy he would fix whatever was messed up, No questions. Said the guy on the phone was all agreeing and nice and all and now he hears from Me and from another member here that this **** is being passed around.
He could've stayed if he were able but he had to go.
Bottom line is he will fix the guy's bike.
Stuff happens and in this case, if his bike wasn't parked behind a trailer it wouldn't have happened.
I am not gonna sit here and call Shelton a saint or drag him through the mud either.
What happened happen and that is the story.
If he hadn't had to leave in such a hurry he would've stayed and it's not a story of being man enough or crap like that...
If the guy was so pissed he should've made it known to the owner on the phone when he talked to him.

if it wasnt private property, it would have been hit and run. bottom line is; unless there was a threat of life, he should had stayed and talked to the owner, not drive off. BS if you ask me and i would not do business there any more if i was the owner of the hit scooter... after i got everything fixed of course...

agree with 'should have stayed' ,leaving to go do business somewhere else is not a reason to have driven off.

The big guy losing money is an emergency, which allows to hit someone bike and drive off? He should of stayed and apologize for hitting it. Money is not an emergency.
