Pokerun has a black mesh jacket trimmed in orange. Extremely comfortable even in 100* weather. $108.00

I wear an HD Switchback Jacket like this http://cgi.ebay.com/HARLEY-DAVIDSON-...item27b9fb45fd.

Great for cold weather, has a zip off outer shell. When it gets hotter in the afternoon easy to zip outer shell off and tuck in saddlebags. The remaining Mesh jacket still has shoulder and elbow armor (which is removable). Mesh lets air go right through and you hardly know it's there. Also comes with a rain shell but never used it.

I picked up one of these (Ride Ready Mesh Jacket) a month ago and can't wait till it's hot enough to need it! It's got pockets in the shoulders and elbows for armor and pockets for hydration packs.

I'm a Joe Rocket fan but all their current mesh jackets have tactile nylon across the shoulders, arms and some of the chest panels (the same problem with HD mesh jackets).

My current jacket is the FLY 8th Street Mesh Jacket:

Its all mesh and has built in pads as well as CE removeable armor in the spine, shoulders and elbows. I bought it in silver, as the second coolest color after white (temperature not style). Anatomically fitted riding position. High visibility reflective piping. Lightweight, water proof, removable liner for rain or cool day. I live in Florida and 90+ degrees is comfortable. It lists for $160.00, I got it for $130.00 or about half the HD product cost.

Motoport.com has kevlar mesh.

I am afraid of the material that a lot of jackets are made from. If sliding I fear that they will melt...melt to my skin.

So far, pleased with motoport, but not inexpensive.

I bought a Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 on a recommendation from a forum member and am very happy with it! I'm 6'1" 185-190 and went with the large. It's a good fit!

I just picked up an ICON Holligan 2 Stealth and it is awesome. Very light weight.
