Good Summer Riding Jacket
#14
I just bought this from Fox Creek:

Don't think it'd do in 100 degrees, but riding in normal summer should be OK. It's about 5 lbs, so not super lightweight. Leather is very soft, I assume would provide good protection if needed.

Like I said, in the summer you either strip down some or stay home. I strip down some and ride in the early AM.

What I meant by "goes with a harley" was some garb just doen't look right. If you say have a blacked out Fatboy, a black leather jacket fits the style, a white armored race jacket doesn't seem to fit.
So basically when leather goes in somewhat cooler weather, I'm looking for something that fits in warmer weather. I actually have a black armored jacket with mesh material, but I don't think it looks quite right. The jacket is something you'd expect to see on a crotch rocket.

Hot wind is just that, hot wind, if you have a jacket that is armored, what is the fashion point? If you're riding and get too hot, pull over somewhere, pull the jacket off for a few minutes, cool down, re-boot.
