Default MUstang Seat Report

Hey ya"ll been some talk about the Mustang seat's. I bought a Vintage Solo for my 10 King. It was 15" wide. Looked good but was too small for my ***. Mustang told me the 17" Super Solo would push me back. I tried it and could not tell any difference except I have more *** room. I didn't need to move bars or pegs at all. I am 6' 2" and 280. Mustang had told me you needed to be 6'3" plus for the super solo to work.

I have had MUstang's on all my bikes and they are kickass after break in.... hope this helps.

I've loved my Mustang seats until we started talking about defective material and warranty. Mustang, you suck.

I sent my seven year old solo back to them because it was getting uncomfortable, foam was getting hard. Re-foamed it and put on a brand new cover. Now that's service, even after seven years. had them on my past three bikes. Good company, good service.

Got the Mustang touring seat on my Heritage. Love it, took a while to break in, really stiff but now it is fine and looks really good also.

I might be in the minority, but I tried the Super solo one whole weekend. I put close a thousand miles in it. It was the most uncomfortable seat I have ever sat on. I guess it is just me but my *** hurt so bad it made my spine tingle. My legs went numb after 400 miles on the seat. I initially thought it would get better after it starts to break in,but it got worse. The only other seat I could compare it to would be a LePera barebones. It's a good thing I bought directly from the manufacturer,as I had it in the mail the following Monday. I have tried every company except Corbin on my bike, and now after 17 different seats searching for that perfect seat. I have found the HD foam just fits me the best Sundowners,Tallboys, and yes even the Badlander. I hope your luck is/was better than mine. I will say if you deal with Mustang direct, they are a great company to deal with.

Just got the Solo with studs delivered for my '04 Dyna. although not tested on the bike yet. Anything will be better than the stock unit.
