Default Harley ATV?

Given the huge market for atv's, both utility and racing, does anyone know if Harley ever considered getting into the market?

They sold dirt bikes for a short time in the 70s. Though I seem to recall they didn't make them, they just re-badged some Italian brand bike. They also sold snowmobiles once upon a time. Don't know of any ATVs in the past.

It's probably best that they don't.
It would end up being as slow as a golf cart and as expensive as a Jeep Wrangler. It would require the "Screaming Eagle" upgrade to run with a 250cc Honda and the suspension would have to be totally redone before ever leaving the groomed hard packed trail.

It would run hot, parts would fall off and the would not honor the warranty.
