Well well well. I have been waiting for such an opportunity. I'm glad it hasn't come along, because then I'll be trying to figure out how to buy one of those too. Oh yeah, I said the speed demon days are over. Thas it, they are over. I won't ride one of those.

I don't doubt that the zx14 is a quick bike, but you are not going to 250 hp with a pipe and tune. In stock trim it has around 160 rwhp. There is no way you are going to get almost an additional 100 hp with just tuning. Sport bikes are amazing bikes, but lets not get carried away here from reality.

Glad you finally came to your senses and realized the errors of your ways! Sometimes its hard to discern fact from BS and you did eventually. I have fun when folks come here to talk about metrics. Its therapy knowing how much I owe the bank on my addiction...It's like community service!!! And Bryan is having hip replacement so he's a little edgy....He'll be happie once the pain killers are administered!

That's cool Ben. I thought you we're talking smack to me. My bad.
It's just that I never tried one of these bikes before and I was suprised
with the power it had. Not sure if it was RWHP or at the crank. I wish I
had that power on my Deuce. I'll start with a big bore kit this winter and
work from there....

WOW! I wonder what it costs for insurance on one of those. I want a V-rod and am worried about how much it will cost to insure it. Can't imagine insuring a ZX14!!!

I hear you on that bro. $10000.00 and counting. And that's not counting
the price of the bike. Thank god I have a cool wife. She's the best most beautiful
thing in the world. OK, sorry about that. She was just in the room but now she left.

A good friend of mine who works at a rice dealership has a Hyabusa that pulls around 275 with a turbo on low boost and close to 300 on high boost. He took it to bike night at a place in Columbus with me one night and ran it on the dyno drags. The tire was slipping on the drum and it still pulled those numbers. That thing doesn't hit the rev-limiter in first gear until around 85mph.
