To answer inquiring minds. Yes, I will wear leather trousers more often than not.100% silk longhandles under the trousers. Too much information ? Full fingered leather gloves, allways. Only a full face helment from the H-D store. Look at the picture you will see fringe, not tassles, on the handlebars! Want more un-needed information? I am 69 years old and last year I had a heavy duty medical problem requiring 10 units of blood, 2 units plasma and 2 packages of plateletts (sp). Doctors told wife they thought they lost me 2 times. Not sure how that happened because in ICU 6 days in guarded condition. Doctors said because of so much blood tranfusion, I would be cold for quite a while. Don't ride as much as I would like but when I go, I'll dress for the slide.

Ride over to Moto-Liberty and look at the Vanson Vent Max 4 mesh jacket. The entire jacket is made of mesh and it has all the pads included. I've worn one in 106-108°F and lived to tell about it. Yes, I was hot, but so was everyone else, and I didn't get sunburned like they did.
The Vanson has more ventilation than any other jacket I've encountered.
I would suggest one in the gray/silver colour, as opposed to the heat absorbing black, even though black is faster.......

 

I don't normally wear leather in the summer.

 

I feel the same way. Just a vest ,T shirt and jeans. Some times wear my boots but most of the time I wear sneakers. Not worried about going down, already had my turn, now it is time for some one else.
