Default Geez!

Well the gravel back roads are about impassable and the ruts and mud could swallow a house this year. You have to drive on the rut crowns and hope you don't slip off to one side or the other or your doomed to pay the towing piper..And now they are calling for another winter storm of between 6 and 11 inches of snow and high temps in the 30's. WTF I have had enough already! There is still 3 feet or more on the ground. May be time to finally move south?

Feel for you guys up there. Been sunny and low 80's for almost a couple of weeks now. Time to pack that U-haul.

Same way on our gravel/dirt roads. In some areas anyways, ground is firming up though and should be able to get the bike out in another week or so.

Not me... We are in the Northern Warning area. Snowing like crazy out right now and cold.

Today's Forecast

• 38°
• 28°
The first full day of spring will feature a blast of winter weather!
A *WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY* is in effect for most of northern NY and all of VT except the Northeast Kingdom. 3-6" of snow can be expected in most areas by Tuesday morning, with 2-4" in the Champlain Valley and our far southern counties where some rain will mix in with the snow late in the day.
A *WINTER STORM WARNING* is in effect for the Northeast Kingdom and northern NH. This is the area where the snow will pile up the most. 4-8" of snow can be expected in the WARNING area through Tuesday morning.
There will be a few lingering snow showers on Tuesday morning, mainly in the northern mountains. Otherwise it will be partly sunny.
Yet another storm system will bring another round of snow late Wednesday into Thursday. We could see a few more inches of snow from that storm, especially in our southern sections.
Things will finally settle down by the end of the week and into next weekend. But temperatures will be on the cool side. Highs will be in the 30s for most of the upcoming week. Normally, we expect highs in the low 40s this time of year.
