Default Help! - I think my new bike is CHROME *****!

I can't believe it, not my sweet little baby... It can't be...

I guess I need to man up and just admit it, the facts don't lie...

I brought my baby home from winter storage at the dealer on Thursday, where I had a chrome tour pack rack put on. (Gotta have a place to strap stuff on.) Friday it was too cold (for me) to ride so I installed all the chrome bits I had collected over the winter. Diamond Plate rider and passenger floor boards, brake pedal, shift pegs, and foot pegs for the crash bar. (The diamond plate looks good on black bike and I got all the stuff reduced >50%)
Anyway I get done installing all the stuff and call Momma out to the garage to have a look. Momma takes one look and says "That looks good, but the bike needs more chrome on the saddle bags!"
Not 10 minutes after her last chrome "fix" and my bike has already convinced someone that she needs more!
Maybe it was my fault, maybe I didn't follow the break in procedure strictly enough... Maybe I should have been a better owner...

Oh G-d, what am I gonna do? My baby is chrome *****!

Sob...

They'll do that to ya, and just to perpetuate the condition, Chrome grips and switch housings will look good on there.....

Ahh... the pains of reality. There is only one thing that can be done.

Be brave, you know what you must do.

My prayers are with you.

All she did was suggest some chrome on the saddlebags. Go easy on her.

My EGC started out like yours (chrome *****) and I was not concerned, figured she would grow out of it, she was just experimenting. Sadly she turned into a chromaholic and there is not a 12 step program in the world that will help.

Be very careful my friend, very careful....

I've got one of those 'Chrome Ho's' too. Lucky for me the previous owner was the one that paid for most of the bitch's dressings.
