It really is the journey, not the destination...

What small town was this picture taken in?
I'm from NC and last summer my wife and I went to Houston to visit her family. Trailered my bike because she can't ride that far (health reasons). After we got there, she visited family while I hit the highway. I rode south to Galveston, north to Nacogdoches and several places in between, to Chappell Hill and all in between. Took the long way everywhere I went and really enjoyed all the small towns, scenery and the people. Everywhere I stopped for gas and water, people were friendly and proud of their state. I even met a Texas Ranger at a gas stop. Real nice place.
If all my roots weren't so deep here I'd think about moving to Texas. The damn liberals have about taken over here.

It's a town ~100 miles southeast of Amarillo called Quitaque (kitty-qway). Texas is great, and big. This is prolly 550 miles from Houston. Come visit again sometime.
