Default lowering deluxe

I have a 08 deluxe and looking to lower the front and rear 1 inch most everyone I talk to sais this okay can anyone else give me their opinion? Also will the spriner rear saddle guards mount right on the deluxe please help, thank you.

If you like feeling every crack, bump, and irregularity in the road...go ahead and lower it. Your ride will feel like a hardtail. I lowered the wife's Deluxe one inch, The ride was so rough, she refused to ride. Put it back real quick.

lowered my 06 deluxe 2" front and rear , it does ride harder than before but it's ok for me . go ahead an do it it'll look better

Put an air ride in it- that way you get the best of both- lowered and a smooth ride. I have an 06 Deluxe and I fell in love all over again when I put the air ride in.
