Weird.....I can change my 1.75's to 2.0's in less than 3 minutes and I'm no mechanic. Guess I'm lucky.

Slightly warming the exhaust up or penetrating oil can help ease the process. Also, wrapping replacement fiberglass matting with clear packing tape will help hold it in place when reinstalling a baffle. It should be an easy process but I realize that is not always the case. Please give us a call if anyone has future issues.

Glad I read this post. I had 1.5's from dealer when I bought the bike new. Changed out to 2.0's last year with no problem at all. At the time I thought about removing and cleaning once in a while, you know how that goes. Just **** canned the old baffles last week as I am packing up to move. Think I will check them anyway this weekend.
