This was like 1978 or 79, I didn't even have my license as was driving it down the road!What was your first ride-first-bike.jpg

Various homemade mini bikes. Earliest ones with Briggs and Stratton lawnmower engins. Later owns with 125cc Allstate motorcycle engine.

1965 BSA Hornet.

1972 XLCH.

Mom was a nurse so no motorized toys until she and Dad split when I was 13. Bought a XL100 Honda for $50 with money earned painting porches in the trailer park Dad lived in. Mom never did forgive him for letting me buy a bike.
Progessed through the ranks until I had a KZ1000 when I was 21, laid that one down at 140 MPH after hitting an armadillo one night, decided it was time to leave bikes alone until I was a little older and wiser. Now at 46 I have my Softail.

First bike was a 71 Honda ct70 . Great little bike . as soon as I had a licience I traded it in on a Suzuki GT185 street bike . Did more with that little 185 than with any bike since . Funny how having no car makes a BIG difference LOL .

then rode a Honda Elsinore (similar to this one) before I actually got my license when I was 16
