Whoo Hoo! It must be spring! The new crop of helmet size threads have bloomed!

to the OP though, pretty much any DOT certified helmet is gonna look like a mushroom on your head. Non-DOT helmets are the only ones that don't.

Really?

I just grabbed one Sat, were only 5 left then at leatherup of the gloss one, none of the flat one. They still have the red ones in stock though.

There's also someone CL in Detroit selling a few for $95.

If someone is really paying $500 or close for one, PM me as I'll find something else and sell mine.

I agree. Pretty much the equation is: DOT= MUSHROOM. As mentioned in an earlier post Headtrip used to make a DOT that was pretty small, but as it turns out it wasn't really DOT.

I have a small DOT bucket from Hells Bells Customs and it is pretty small, flat black, and only $69. They claim to have the smallest DOT helmets also.....

I have a non-carbon Daytona half helmet, and it's pretty light - - waaay lighter than the Skid Lid half shell I originally bought (and still have).

I just bought one on ebay. The best part is if I don't like it I can resell it on Ebay for $500.00.

For those deciding between the Outlaw and Daytona, the Outlaw I just received, size L measures 10 1/4 by 8 1/4 by about 5 1/2. According to the Daytona website, the L (both fit a 23" head) is 10 1/2 by 9 by 6.

Also, looking at even the smaller Daytona sizes they are still bigger than the Outlaw, so even if Outlaw uses one shell size for the smaller sizes it will smaller than the Daytona.

Excellant Info. That's the information I am looking for that really helps. Thanks

I am doing the same search, looks like Zox and Skid Lids are both pretty small. J&P has pretty good prices on both of them.
