Buying a new Harley?

Buying a new Harley?
I just noticed Victory is offering to give you $100 if you test drive one of their bikes and then buy a similar model from a competitor like Harley. Seems like a no loose situation for the buyer.
Seems like they are trying to lure the hard core, HD brand loyal guys, the guys who would ordinarly only ever consider and test ride a HD, into their show room. It will be interesting to see if this marketing strategy works for them.

Hmmmm, pretty good strategy to get prospective Harley buyers into Victory showrooms and test riding a Victory. Not sure I would bother to ride a Victory otherwise. $100 is peanuts if they can gain a loyal lifetime Victory customer....

Sounds like an easy way to pick up $100. I bet the first guy who tries it gets screwed out of the money by Victory through some loophole. So I go try a Victory Vision then buy an Ultra. I ask Victory for the cash and they tell me Harley doesn't make a comparable bike to the Vision because they don't look the same right?

Harley is the Champ!!!
I heard Victory bikes is a good smooth ride and they starting to look futuristic. It good for people thats looking for a change. But real Harley Davidsons mark there territory (drips oil) like a dog **** on a tree. HD or nothing. But dont get me wrong I will test drive a Victory and use that $100 toward a Harley.lol

Hey moron, aside from the fact that you can't write, you know squat about Harleys. My Hayabusa will leave an oil spot on the garage floor but my Harley -- and the two before it -- were 100 percent oil tight.

To me if your an HD guy then you are not going to get a Vic, they are too much like a metric bike to me. There is a big HD dealer about 30 miles form my house that sells both HD's and Vic's in the same show room so that would be an easy 100 if you went there LOL!

I actually rode the Victory Cross Country because of all the specs. The specs are great but I bought an Ultra Limited and there is NO comparison in the ride of an Ultra and the Cross Country. I am so happy with my FLHTK. It is smoother and much more maneuverable than the Cross Country was for me. The design of the Cross Country gave me a feeling of scooter instead of motorcycle but that's just my take. I know other riders and other body types (sizes) may appreciate the Cross Country, but I'm happy with my decision.
