H-D CEO $6.4 Million

I shouldn't be amazed how this post has spun into a hate fest. Management and labor has always been a polarizing subject. Seems your either on one side or the other. I guess that is where the term we will just have to agree to disagree. In the end everyone has to agree to one thing, without business's there probbly wouldn't be a job. Without workers there probably wouldn't be a business. After understanding that then the next question is who is entitled to what part of the pie. That is the $64,000 dollar question (or in this case a $6.4M question). Whether you support a union or against it, understand that someone has to steer the ship. Finding that person that is entrusted to make the right decision for the health of the organization and its future costs money. It is not the job of the meek and mild. Making hard decisions to lay off people is never easy (although to some it seems so), if it comes down to a keep everyone and fail, or a lay off 1/2 the workforce and make it, someone is going to lose. It is just a matter of the numbers. We can have our opinions, but at the same time we have to maintain a sense of rational reasonability.
