The line that goes from the fuel pump to the tank fitting that attaches to the throttle body? Do you just pull it off? There is no clamp on that side of it. Also, how do I tell if there is a pin hole leak in one of the fuel lines inside the tank. I have dried them off and don't see any gas leaking, but there must be a good method to figure this out. Please help. And my goodness, there is a lot of crap inside the tank on the efi models. Hope I can get it back together as it was. Anyway, your responses are geratly appreciated as I am doing this now. Halfway done I guess.

 

When I swapped tanks, I took the new one and old one down to the dealer. They charged be less than $40 bucks and it was done in a couple of hours.

 

That's a good idea big ed. I'll consider that.
