I think one reason Main St was so damn backed up was because they were letting cars, trucks, etc travel through Main 24 hours a day... I have been to Bike Week 6 times in 8 years and this is the first time that I seen Main st open to all traffic... it is usually bikes only from like 3pm until 5am... not sure why this changed but it is horrible now... we tried to get down Main one time... we made it to the first street and went down a couple blocks to International Speedway blvd and found almost no traffic on that street.
I too was in Daytona. Had a great time. Rain kinda sucked Wednesday nite but let up soon enough on Thursday so we could ride. Other then that the weather was fantastic.
Yeah i wish i could have met up with them. Definitely had a great time...supposedly there were a record 75,000 bikes there

I left Fri. afternoon and overall the crowd seemed "way" down to me, but that made it nice. Never had to wait to get in anywhere or park.
Had a good time, weather was excellent, just the rain that cleared by Wed. afternoon. Really enjoyed the flat track racing.
