What should you do if you lose your kickstand
beginner rider here. none of my biker buddies can answer this question so major props to anyone who can. This has never happened to me but what if for some strange reason......say.....something happens to your kickstand.....and you "have to" park it somewhere? What should you do?

I hadn't thought of that.
I suppose I could just lay a bagger down on its engine guards without scratching it if I was careful. In fact, I know its possible to lay them down without scratching them withOUT being careful. From what I've heard.

wooden
- Drive to Homeless Depot & lean bike up against wall on handlebars.
- Go to your lumber department specialist and explain what happened.
- Go to the lumber department and find a scrap let's say 2X6 and cut them in 12" lengths X 3 pieces.
- Arrange and nail all three pieces together using nails purchased and their hammer.
- Pick up two bungee cords and move to the check out line.
- Bungee temporary kickstand than ride home.
- You should figure out the rest from here.

Happened to my son in law 2 years ago. Kickstand broke. Hauled butt to the dealer & caught'em just at closing time. In & out in 10 minutes & cost 10 bucks.

Back in the day...we would use a half helmet or a full face helmet as a kick stand. We would put it on the ground by the left side riders foot peg and lean the bike on the helmet . Never had a bike fall over.
