Lean it up against a Gold Wing or a Kawasucki.

Go home and have your OL hold it up while you order a new one from Chicago HD....then wait 6-8 weeks

When I lost the stand on my bike a few years ago in Baja I'd just shut it off and walk away from it. It was always laying in the same spot when I came back. But it was an old dirt bike so you couldn't tell that it had hit ground a few more times.

What kind of bike are you ridding. It can't be a Harley cause Harleys don't have kickstands. Just curious.

What? There's a Harley part that doesn't cost at least a hundred dollars?

Pull to the service bay entrance, honk horn, hen they open door pull in and tell them what happened and that you are there to get a new one. If you are in a decent shop they will make sure the bike stays up while you get a new one. When purchased hand to service writer then bend over and grab your anles while he/she puts a boot in your *** as a reminder that checking fasteners is part of servicing your bike and lubricating the kickstand is part of regular maintenance
