Hey geniuses, I'm the original poster of this thread. I was correcting my own spelling error in the title of my thread before the regular jacka$$ spelling police come along to correct me. It obviously went over both of your heads. BTW, I ride a harley. I don't sit around posting on HDforums so that I can have a 10,000+ post count in a year.

The only one said to me was by a salesperson so I guess you have to take it with a grain of salt, but he told me that you can't use synthetic oil in a Harley because it's too slippery and the engine won't run right w/o adequate friction.

You know the balancing section of pipe on the Fat Boy that runs obliquely between the upper and lower pipe? I love asking HD salesmen AND mechanics at their shops if that pipe is truly a balancer or is it just for looks. I have been asking for a while now, and the responses have been just about 50/50...
