Low idle on startup and when coming to a stop?
I can't figure this out. It all started when I changed my throttle or at least that is when I noticed it cable which leads me to believe it is something I did then. I changed the crank postion sensor today to no avail. Took the power commander off to no avail. Cleaned out the air filter to no avail.
Does the vehicle speed sensor need the speedo to work properly? I have been running without a speedo for a few weeks as i am waiting for it to come back from being modded and before I buy anything else or tear anything else part I need to know? Opinions?
thanks!

ECM probably needs the signal from the speedo. Like redmonster said it is defaulting back to the idle table on the map. Just my guess. It may need the speedo sensor input to get the engine temp sensor to make it follow the idle temperature steps. OR maybe your engine temp sensor is faulty.

Well, I'll find out when i get my speedo back. fI can still ride it, it's just that I have to rev it when I come to a stop to keep it going. This logic does sound sound.
