Question Re-Tuning after installing a Heavy Breather

In my winter modes on my RKC I had stage 1 done complete with a performance modual and SE pipes. They did not change the air filter except to remove the back plastic cover. I am thinking of getting a heavy breather part # 29253-08A picture attached. Will I need to get it re-tuned after that is installed? If so can I do it myself or does it take a lot of tech skill? Not my chosen profession but I can learn with the right directions.

I would tune any engine that has decreased back pressure from an exhaust change and increased air flow from a breather improvement. Is it necessary on your engine from the small changes you made?---Probably not. Your engine came from the factory lean. It is now even more lean. Lean is mean but fat last forever. I like a fat engine even in these overpriced gasoline times. This is a common question on this forum and shows up often. You will get lots of opinions. Simple way to check your bike is watch you mpg---check you plugs for color. Listen and feel the bike on acceleration and deceleration.

Ok so i put the heavy breather on and now when I am stopped for a red light or such there is a ton of white smoke. Also after letting is sit shut off for a few minutes it was very hesitant to start and it back fired a bit. What did I do wrong and how can i fix it.

Found out it was the bolts i used. I had Stage 1 put on and the HB needed the old original bolts to works correctly. Something to do with how they are vented. Put the original breather on till i get the right bolts and it is working fine.
