Default digital speedo

Sorry if there are other threads on this. I tried searching but don't know if it is issues with the site or my crappy internet but it never got past the waiting for response. So after 30 minutes of that crap I'm just gonna post. I am looking at eventually putting apes on my FXD. Probably 12" or maybe a little taller, depends on what fits me best. I'm pretty sure that the stock speedo will hit my windshield bag using the stock risers (currently have 4" pb risers). Not getting rid of the bag, daughter bought it for my birthday and if you got young kids you'll understand why it has to stay. Plus I like it. So I am looking at replacing the stock speedo with a Dakota Digital or Milwaukee Twins digital Speedo. I have also considered rivco risers with 1" rise and 2" pb with apes and keeping the stock speedo since it should clear then, but not sure how the apes would look with the pullback. Don't think it would look as bad as they would with ther 4" pullback risers I have on there now. So any experience with either of the digital speedos?

I've been riding with the Dakota Digital in my Sportster from day 1. Love it.
Has all the infomation I need: tacometer, engine temp, gear shift position indicator, low-voltage warning, fuel light, and all the performance calculators.
I drifted to the blue due to having red gauges in the past that were difficult to see in the daylight.

No complaints other than the price!

The Dakota Digital is a great unit, everything in 1 place.

I made my own mount, but you can buy one from Accutronix.
