Default Mustang seat question

I just put a new Mustang Vintage Solo seat on my 10 RKC. I spoke with Mustang several times on the phone before ordering the seat. The Mustang rep told me that I needed the 15" seat. I am 6'2" with a 34 inch inseam and weigh about 270. The rep stated even with a 34" inseam the 17" seat would set me back to far. The seat seems narrow to me and the weather here is to cold, wet, and snowy to ride any distance. Anyone have any experience with the 17" vs the 15" ? I only have ten days to send it back.

I have had Mustang seats in the past but he King sets different than my past bikes. I do know the Vintage solo is comfortable after it's broke in but I am concerned about width of this one.

I've had both. The only difference that I could tell was the width at the nose when I put my feet down at a light, meaning that I was totally flat footed with the 15" and with the 17" one of my heels is maybe a half inch off the ground. My inseam is probably just a bit shorter than yours.

Other than that, the extra width in the seat is pretty nice.
